Could be I'm just having PC issues, but with my sculpt now just north of 1mil polys, I'm getting some serious lag while sculpting. I may be reaching the end of the Blender portion of this project, likely to move over to the always-responsive ZB.

I'm starting on a new character - a personal piece - based on this wonderful concept by Donato Giancola: http://www.donatoart.com/gallery/redsonja.html My plan is to do as much as possible in Blender, at least to a point. In that I was inspired by Max Puliero, who does some superb sculpting work in Blender: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noi14WV-tY0 I'm expecting to be able to do the bulk of the sculpting and clothing/armor/gear in Blender, then I'll see about whether Blender can handle the finest sculpted/surface detail (i.e. alpha work). If that is not going well, I'll switch over to ZB for the final sculpt pass. I'm not brave enough to attempt texturing in Blender, planning to do that with Substance, etc.
